Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny treated the girls very well on Sunday....they quickly found their baskets and all the hidden eggs - and it wasn't long before the candy breakfast began! Tucker also fared pretty well as he ate Madelyn's entire basket (this picture was taken before - obviously) while the family was at church.....including some hollow decorated eggs that the girls had painted!

Needless to say, we left him outside/in the garage when we left for Easter dinner. He didn't seem any worse for the wear...which was surprising.

Bowling For Kids' Sake

Madelyn & Grace donned the "pretty" shoes to knock down some pins to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters on Saturday. They both did very well - and without the bumpers to prevent gutter balls. We were the first group there and the girls started dancing to the music and light show (they turned down the lights, ala the Rock 'n Bowl they do on Saturday nights)...then bowled for a little while before turning their attention to the clown who made them some balloon animals. All in all the dozen, or so, KSB teams raised over $12,000 - more than 25% of the total that BB/BS raised for the event.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some pictures later..........

April showers?

The weather forecast for tomorrow calls for the possibility of 6"-10" of snow! They say April can be a cruel month....it especially tough after we had our first cook out (and ate outside) at the Jones' last Sunday - yes they still had two feet of snow in their yard (and probably will until Memorial Day).

The girls continue to be active in their day-to-day activities: Madelyn (kindergarten, gymnastics and dancing), Grace (nursery school, speech, dancing and gymnastics) and Claire (just riding around with Mom, getting everyone where they need to be - though she no longer needs to have her monthly visits from the nurse).

Madelyn & Grace will be Bowling For Kids' Sake on Saturday, helping to raise funds for the local Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.
