Happy Birthday to Madelyn!
It's hard to believe that Madelyn is six years old today! She's had a daily countdown this week, starting at four more days on Monday. We will be having a "family" party tonight and a "friends" swimming party tomorrow afternoon at the new YMCA in Augusta. She has invited all of her kindergarten class and some other friends....it should be close to 25 kids splashing around.
Madelyn just signed up for the K-1 basketball program and will be doing that in addition to the gymnastics and dancing this winter.
Grace is doing well in her first year of nursery school, making friends and she seems to be more outgoing with her new friends than we thought she would. The current fundraiser is selling poinsettias for the holidays. We were able to sell over 125 plants (can't wait to deliver them all)! Grace is also busy with dancing and gymnastics.
Claire continues to progress very nicely...almost up to 10.5 lbs. and the nurse and the physical therapist say she is doing very well. November is National Preemie Awareness Month and last Tuesday, the 14th, was National Preemie Awareness Day and activities were conducted at the Maine State Armory in Augusta. Claire (and her family) took part in the lighting ceremony with First Lady Mrs. Baldacci.
